Okay, full disclosure time: even with all my years of experience, I recently took a financial nosedive. The old me would’ve spiraled, hours of rage, days of feeling paralyzed, that awful heartache that makes your chest feel like it’s full of broken glass. But this time? I sat down with myself like you’d sit with a friend who just messed up. No screaming. No drama. Just a quiet, “Alright, let’s figure this out.”

I retraced every step, breathing through the anger when it tried to hijack my thoughts (humming helped, weird, but it works). The game-changer? I refused to let my brain dive into that lava pool of “If only…” and “How could I?!” Instead, I replayed everything like watching a movie about someone else’s life. That’s the magic trick: detachment. Yeah, it sounds lofty, but it’s really just practice like learning to ride a bike, except the bike is your emotions, and the training wheels are your self-control.

Here’s the raw truth: most of the time, the rescue team we’re waiting for? It’s us. We just keep forgetting we’re holding the rope. That doesn’t mean it’s easy. Every cell in your body will beg to wallow or blame or panic. But the moment you shift from “Why is this happening to me?” to “What is this teaching me?”, everything changes.

So if you’re staring at your own version of this mess whether it’s money, relationships, or just life’s general chaos know this: you’ve got a chance to rewrite the script. And if you need someone to help you find the pen? That’s what I’m here for. Let’s grab a session and turn this stumble into your next breakthrough.
